Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the Wildfox Bloggers event and was very excited to preview the Spring 2010 'Young Guns' collection. Wildfox is definitely the brand to be seen in and comprises of a gorgeous range of t-shirts, tanks, leggings, bike shorts and sweatshirts that have a distinct laid back rock chic edge.
The brand was founded in LA and the new Young Guns collection is inspired by everything 80’s in a Madonna meets 'Thelma and Louise' kind of way. For me personally, I tend to shy away (or run away) from anything that is based on 80’s fashion but this collection gets it just right with colourful graphic print t-shirts with slogans with versions in loose fit cuts as well as ones which skim the body perfectly in a not too tight or too loose kind of way.

These are the perfect choices for a Sunday date when you want to look effortlessly cool in that ‘I’ve just rolled out of bed and look awesome’ way and can be teamed with anything from a bodycon skirt to leggings and even trackie bottoms (not that I’d ever advise going on a date wearing trackie bottoms but you get my drift).
My favourite pieces are the horoscope t-shirts (this line is actually already out) which are available in each star sign. These t-shirts are 'one size fits all' and are more baggy on the gals which means that you can style them off the shoulder and team with loads of chunky jewellery.
The Chanel Potion No 9 is almost like Chanel has gone a bit bonkers and suddenly rebelled against its polished style and the sparkly heart long sleeved tee and a hot pink slinky 'No 9' logo t-shirt also caught my eye. What I also really liked about some of the t-shirts is the low V necklines which can often be far more flattering than a normal round neck.

Wildfox is very LA and the ladies from the Hills really like the brand including my current gal crush Whitney Port who can seem to pull of that thrown together look in a way that I can only admire. However, Wildfox does make it that little bit easier and ultimately I love the versatility the pieces have to offer; many of the tees would look amazing with killer heels and stacks of jewellery.
Oh yes, and I was also very happy with my goodie bag filled with American candy as well as some healthy Vitamin Water. Delicious indeed.
Wildfox is available in Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, and Queen for a Day and you can also check out the Wildfox Couture website.
Many thanks to the lovely Carina at Self Service for organising.
