The One Night Only Pretaportobello Pop-Up Shop

By Claire Tayler

I know, I know, pop-up shops have been up and down all year and perhaps we shouldn't still be getting excited about them but I'm always hooked on any mention of a fashion-related one.

Next week Pretaportobello - very much in the vein of Oliver Bonas currently toted as ES's Website of the Week - launch their pop up parlour and boutqiue and come offline for one day only. This is brilliant because not only do they stock the gorgeous Emily and Fin and Trollied Dolly brands of summery well-cut dresses that have launched with a storm this year, but I've fallen in love with half of their dresses which are currently winding their way through to be courtesy of Royal Mail.

Promising a girl's night out with "shopping, beautifying...and a glass of bubbles" PPB will be filling Shoreditch House with their boutique, containing a range of their summer dresses, kaftans, jewellery, swimwear and homebits, and more importantly fashion advice will be on hand from top stylist Tess Wright.  They're also providing a Lash Bar in which you can have your eyes pandered over by Amanda Harrington from In Parlour and get fabulously girly lashes, eyebrows and smokey eyes for £10.

We're excited about the offline arrival of Pretaportobella.  You don't need to be a Shoreditch House member, but you must email info AT pretaportobello DOT com to put your name on the guestlist.  It's running today, Monday 24th May, only from 3pm-3am.  That's certainly long enough to investigate clothes and make some inspired decisions at a full night of shopping with the aid of bubbly.
