This week while I was perusing Kingdom of Style, some amazing studded tights by Bebaroque were brought to my attention. The little gold discs that adorn the back of these black tights are just enough to add a little bit of disco (something I strive to do on a daily basis) to what is essentially a slightly dull wardrobe staple without making you look like a bad Abba tribute act.
Bebaroque, which was started just over a year ago by Scottish designers, Mhairi McNicol and Chloe Patience, boasts a wide range of unique hand embroidered and screen printed tights including the hugely popular Tattoo Me which feature a traditional tattoo like print in either white on black tights for a bold effect, or in subtler nude.
My favourites are Miss Godiva Gold from the Autumn-Winter 08 collection which are embellished with a screen printed gold lace design and Swarovski crystals which catch the light and add a real touch of glamour to any outfit. The design on the tights is also a great way to nod to the lace trend that is huge for the coming season.
A variety of styles starting at £20 are available from the Bebaroque Website.
