When it comes to underwear, I am a strong believer that you should always wear the correct size bra – that sounds obvious but in fact many of us don’t. 

Making that trip the ever faithful M&S and getting yourself measured is worth it because when you find a bra that fits properly it can literally make you feel like you’ve had a boob job!

However, whilst I like good underwear I’m not what you would call one of those girls who go out and buy themselves pretty lingerie – not because I don’t like to but because like many of us, I just don’t tend to think about it or have the time to indulge in that type of shopping. So when I got the opportunity to sample some of the new Dita Von Teese Party Edition collection I was very excited indeed because this was one of those little luxuries that I just don’t bother with.

As we all know, Dita is somewhat of a burlesque icon with that perfect petite but curvy figure of hers and likes to make women feel good about themselves, not for men, but for their own self esteem. Her first Wonderbra collection which was launched in 2008 was immensely successful and this new range has stepped up a little by being more party season themed with various types of bras and panties (I even feel weird writing ‘panties’!) and has a little more glamour and ‘pzazz’ shall we say.

I gratefully received one set from the collection; the Multi Teese Party Edition bra and thong set, which with its gorgeous velvet straps, bow detailing, sequins is glamorous enough to make you feel super sexy but not outrageous in any way that you would feel uncomfortable wearing it on a day-to-day basis. The bra fastens at the front with a clasp and the velvet straps which feel gorgeous against the skin can be adjusted and removed according to what kind of top or dress you want to wear.

Now for all you ladies who are somewhat generous in the bust area...well, let’s not be coy...big boobs are hard to dress. However, this bra really holds you in place and gives you that lovely bit of lift without looking like Jordan. The set also features a really cute bow on the bra cups and thing with sequin detail and the set is very sweet but definitely ultra sexy. I really love it.

It is definitely true that wearing pretty and sexy underwear does make you feel that extra bit sensual and glamorous and this collection is perfect if you like something exquisite, subtle and special.
