Hi-top trainers: Get that image of bad ‘90s footwear out of your head, this is less Fresh Prince of Bel-Air more Marc by Marc Jacobs. His modern take on these in primary brights has trickled down the high street. Try them in sugar sweet pastel shades, like pink and purple to tick two trend in one.
Pastel jacket: Lemon, candy-floss and mint green, in fact all pastel hues are key for the season and a jacket is a great way to channel the trend. Keep it tailored with a jacket or oversized for a casual look, paired with denim now and a summer dress come June adds instant longevity.
Crop top: Quelle horreur! This is definitely not one for the faint-hearted. If you dare to bare this spring you’ll be in good company with the likes of Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Preen all taking the t-shirt hemlines higher. If you can pull it off with stylish prowess we salute you.
Luxe joggers: Call it Olympic fever, but sportswear in general received a fashion nod this season with luxe joggers heading up the finish line. Alexander Wang was out in the forefront, but not unusually the high street is following suit. Try some satin soft joggers for a take on this.
