Online shopping certainly has its perks and with added bonuses such as same day delivery, it’s easy to look great without ever leaving the house. One thing that I always have found though is that the ways of searching for products is fairly limited. The factors that really determine whether clothing looks good on us is whether they suit our body shape and colouring yet there are hardly any online retailers who provide a facility to search for clothing using these options in addition to...

In a bid to break away from their old bastard reputation (beige slacks, anything from M&S men's also key to this look), earlier this year, Hush Puppies threw the pencil and paper out to the masses and launched a design comp...

As the nights get longer and the days get colder, it gets increasingly difficult to wrench yourself of the sofa and into the outside world. Sitting in the lounge under a blanket in front of a fire is pretty much the only thing I want to do at this time of year but alas jobs need to be done, groceries need to be bought, and bags of rubbish can only sit around the kitchen for so long before they leak that mysterious liquid.

Ethical fashion- what exactly is it? What is ethical fashion really about? These questions continue to stimulate much confusion within the fashion industry; and there’s no doubt that it is no simple explanation but hopefully this will shed some light…The Ethical Fashion Forum’s definition of ethical fashion is based on best practice within the ethical fashion arena. Ethical fashion doesn’t necessarily have to be doing everything ethically, but must cover one or more of these areas:

Nail varnishes are one of those things that you don’t really know the quality of until you’ve used it.So many times I’ve wasted money on polishes that don’t look like anything like they do in the bottle, or chip off just days (or hours) fter using it. At the recent

When thigh high boots made their runway return the fashion press made a big deal about how you could wear them without looking like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (aka the lazy journalist’s shorthand for ‘dressing like a prostitute’). Wise advice. Thigh high boots are incredibly sexy and if worn with the right outfit can be seriously stylish and totally non-trashy.

Last night saw the launch of the new H! By Henry Holland line that will be launched in 64 Debenhams shop for Spring /Summer 2010 as yet another example of their "Design in Every Department" campaign. The man himself was there last night, talking to folks about his new, more affordable line, as well as posing for photos and probably being attacked by over enthusiastic fashion bloggers. (“OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU!!!!!)

Winter weather is gradually creeping up on us and that can only mean one thing; no, not woolly hats and scarves and big furry coats. Alas, winter means Uggs. Unfortunately once the cold sets in, people seem to lose the will to wear nice footwear and resort to prancing around in overgrown slippers. If I had it my way, anyone wearing Uggs would be locked in a room with Gok Wan for an hour. Not because Gok Wan has any knowledge of fashion/style but because that’s the worst form of ...

For a lot of us, Winter can mean colds, sniffles, and a raw nose from constantly swiping your sniffer with rough tissue, and using harsh inhalers and nasal sprays to help you, well, breathe properly. However, we’re hoping that this year your nose can stay silky smooth with Vicks Sinex Soother decongestant relief spray. Vicks Sinex Soother has a unique moisturising fo...

It’s saying something when Paris Hilton and Kimora Lee Simmons are two of the best-dressed people at an event, but incredibly that’s the situation partygoers found themselves in at Hello Kitty’s 35th anniversary last week. I suppose when you’re invited to such an event, normal dress code rules kinda go out the window, but when you find yourself looking at Paris Hilton and thinking how sophisticated she looks, it’s time to rethink your outfit.
