London Fashion Week, Day Two

The day began with an early dash across London to take in the collection at Clements Ribeiro. As expected for S/S'12 floral's made a usual appearance, but for the forthcoming season be sure to get your print fix with colourful paisley on silk. Don't be fooled though, there was nothing demure about it. French lace and clashing checker-board print added a much needed edge to this classic summer print; pairing floral dresses with black lace sleeves...swoon!

London Fashion Week, Day One

Crochet, fringe and patchwork knits  were the trends to note on day one at London Fashion Week. And even though the fabric choices were decidedly wintry a bright and bold colour palette added a much needed summer feeling to proceedings. At Vauxhall Fashion Scout, the place to see the best emerging designers of the season, Malene Oddershede Bach in the aptly named Ones to Watch show, previewed snake print separates in clashing yellow and aqua. In contrast, Phoebe English showed how worki...

LFW: Toni&Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe

Last night the most note-worthy accessory being toted was a finely quaffed 'do. Yes, I was in attendance at Toni&Guy's preview of 'Hair Meet Wardrobe', their new four piece collection of must-have hair. The first of its kind, Toni&Guy officially kicked off a week of fashion, with notable celebs Olivia Palermo and Matthew Williamson taking seats front row. Whilst super model, Naomi Campbell introduced the show - cue camera flashes galore!

How to Get Snapped at London Fashion Week

With Fashion Week around the corner, prepare for all things fashion to take over the streets of London. We’ve been warmed up with Vogue’s Fashion Night Out, which took place last week and saw the entire of Bond Street closed for the first time...ever. I kid you not, from platform-clad women on the tube to avant garde outfits a plenty in your local Prêt, London is upping the (fashion) ante. But with a helpful, manicured hand at the ready, BitchBuzz  is set to guide you through Fashion W...

Designer Heaven with Debenhams Edition

Most designer collaborations no longer have the power to excite me like they did many years ago when they were still a novelty. I remember when Stella McCartney for H&M caused a stampede of crazed women bent on trampling anyone that stood in the way. I was there to get stabbed by a hanger at Viktor & Rolf for H&M (seriously).

Tried and Tested: Ombre Hair

After a long day in the office dicussing new season trends, the must-have AW coat and platforms V brogues, I was in need of a little relaxation. The magic call came via John Frieda and my Editor, who couldn't make a hair appointment and bestowed the offer to me. As I made my way to the Cavendish Street salon, I was greeted by my stylist for the evening, Olivia. As a self confessed abuser of my hair, over the years I had been blon...

Autumn Launches to Look Forward To

Autumn is almost upon us which means a new season, new trends, an updated wardrobe and a fresh new attitude. For me, fall has always been the time of year where it feels like a new beginning. January is too predictable and coincides with my massive comedown from December holiday cheer. And as much as I love the sunshine and warm weather of spring and summer, it always feels very fleeting.

The Autumn Essentials

Autumn and winter are seasons that were made for the dedicated clothes horse. Don’t get me wrong. Summer is grand. Who doesn’t love the sun, picnics in the park and warm weather? But winter. The opportunity to layer, wear boots of all styles, trousers, jumpers, tights, coats, dresses and scarves all layered on top of one another - try doing that when it’s 30 degrees outside. As the weather has turned from what was supposed to be a hot and sunny August to one that’s grey, rainy and a bit crap ...

How Dry Shampoo Changed My Life

Like wondering what to have for lunch, finding the time to wash my hair has plagued me more throughout my adult life more than I'd like to admit. I hate washing my hair. Hate it. And from what I've been told by hairdressers and read in overly dramatic "I went for six weeks without washing my hair!" themed columns in various magazines, not washing your hair is so in right now. And, indeed, washing it less means your hair stays healthier. Something about natural oils. Y...
