As it gets to the time of year in the UK when summer wardrobe items are brought out of hibernation in the hope that we’ll get some decent weather, I’ve started lusting over all the pretty dresses that are currently on sale. Shopping online is not something I do very much of. I like to try things on and see how a garment fits me, rather than just how it hangs on a hanger.However, with shops like eBay’s Fashion Outlet on the loose, I can definitely feel that I’m going to a lot more browsing online (and potentially many more returns, but whatever).

I’ve been reasonably lucky on the clothes front so far; five months in I still have some pre-pregnancy dresses and skirts I can wear (albeit hitched a little higher on the waist). But work, with my usual uniform of trousers and fitted tops, is a little trickier and it’s been more of a challenge to find well-fitting, good value maternity clothes for the office.
