We all know about Ebay, Etsy, ASOS and Net-a-Porter. But there are even more ways of spending money online. After a recent slip into shopping-mania-land I've discovered plenty of cool online retailers and am now considering hiding my credit card. The high street is tiring. You trod up and down, elbowing your way through crowds of sweaty people with more money than you and eventually end up in H&M buying that discounted skirt that will stay in your wardrobe forever. I avoid the high...

Last week saw the posh, pretty and kind-of irritating Emma Watson chop off her long hair into a short, flattering new crop. Many know her as ‘Hermione’ in the Harry Potter franchise, but this new style has had the media comparing her to Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby - a cut that is still considered iconic more than 40 years on.

For anyone with fine, straight hair that tends to fall flat - the quest for big hair is one that never sleeps. Always the envy of friends with naturally curly hair, my own pin-straight limp locks have always been met with disdain in the mirror. I could not believe my flat-iron wielding friends, furiously flattening their glorious manes of bouncy curls and natural waves. What I would do for hair that gets poufy in the rain and dries into a wild, uncontrollable ball of fuzz, resistant to the ch...

I’m not sure when it started. After all, I’ve spent my entire life buying up countless cosmetics to mimic the “natural look”. Over 30 different blushes, all a very neutral pinkish-brown, as well as tinted lipglosses and lipsticks that blended into the colour of my lips and neutral beige eyeshadow with just a hint of sparkle.

Being a Lush junkie, I'm always excited to try new products. I could barely contain my excitement I discovered they released a new Body Tint, Charlotte Island, and facial color supplements. Lucky for you readers, I've allowed myself to be a canary. I quickly napped up both to try for myself and share the results with you.

It started one day as an innocent fling. I pounced on it as soon as I saw it in Topshop. I quickly found my size, tried it on and purchased it all while stealthily eating a thai chicken wrap from the canteen next to the fitting rooms. When I showed my friend I could see her eyebrows raise slightly as she asked, “What would you wear with that?!” My answer is tights. Always, black tights. Surely that would make this flimsy white cotton playsuit with rosebuds on it work appropriate.

For hair this Summer it's all about carefree curls - muzzed up festival hair with bounce, gently tousled waves on red carpets , and volumised curly updo's for just about any occasion. With that in mind, this week my challenge has been to tech test two curling devices. Will you please welcome to the BitchBuzz stage the Yogi Hair Wand, one of QVC's sell out items, and the newly launched TONI&GUY Electricals range Jumbo Wave and Curl Tong.

Oh, high heels...They're everywhere. And they're just getting higher. Most of them squash your feet and turn you into a pain control expert in a few hours. You can't walk very fast and you can't run for a bus without looking like a complete idiot. Why most fashion-loving women out there would put themselves through this is beyond my understanding.
