There are a lot of things women will do for beauty. From the minor, such as letting fish loose on your feet to eat dead skin, to the major, like injecting chemicals into their foreheads or lips, it seems like there isn't one beauty treatment out there that some women won't try.
While the use of Botox and other minor medical cosmetic procedures are becoming borderline acceptable, some things just seem a bit extreme.

Plain t-shirts are a wardrobe staple. Wear 'em in bed or to a party, with anything from jeans to leather leggings, and you're onto an outfit winner. Humble t-shirt, we salute you! But would you pay nearly £40 for one?
Oscar London t-shirts, worn by clothes horses including Cheryl Cole, pride themselves on fit, feel and neckline. They come in good old black and white and in either scoop or v-neck. But they are priced at £39.50. S...

When it comes to prints, the humble polka dot has long been overshadowed by its more suave sibling, the stripe. Wear a Breton stripe T-shirt and you resemble Coco Chanel on a yacht; wear a spotty shirt and you look like a kid’s TV presenter. A stripey suit is the staple of most working wardrobes, but a spotty suit? That’s clown territory. Spots seem to be reserved for kiddy clothing, underwear and pin-up girl-style frocks.

The ethical ‘make your own’ approach to fashion is all well and good, sticking it to the man etc, but we don’t always have the time or the creativity to do it well. Thanks to the new range of jewellery by ‘Made’, launching at Monsoon today, you can wear beautifully made jewellery that is also ethical, and helps to generate income for a more impoverished community.

I like to think I know a thing about two about fashion. I have not one but two degrees in the subject (jus’ sayin’), the majority of my friends work in ‘the industry’ and I’d hazard a guess that I spend about 2/3 of my waking life on fashion blogs. That said, it’s safe to assume that I know a bit about trends, about what might look good and what might not look so good, and that hopefully I am capable of knowing that even when something’s not my style, it can still be awesome.

Quickly dashing through a bustling Covent Garden, I spotted a woman rushing through the crowd, a very pink, very fetching shopping bag in hand. It featured an illustration of a vampy looking pin-up. The name of the shop? Miss Lala’s. Who is this Miss Lala and what does she sell, I wondered.

Although the British weather this week may have you believing otherwise, it’s summer. We’re half way through August, and while we should be basking in glorious sunlight and living off a diet of ice cream and lemonade, unfortunately the weather has other ideas. I decided today that maybe by wearing entirely summer-themed clothing, I could force the sun to come out and stay out. It’s probably not going to work – I’ll probably look like one of those stupid British people who goes o...

There are some days that you simply have to congratulate youself on being completely fucking awesome. There are other days when you need to just fake it to you make it. (Hopefully this doesn't invovle self-affirmations written in lipstick on your bathroom mirror, but who are we to judge...)Whether you need an accessory that conveys your kick-assness like a badge of honor, or a little something to remind you that even though you’re in a job you hate and haven’t had sex in eight months –...
