While eBay can seem like a veritable treasure trove for designer goods, endless legal cases between designers and the auction site lead you to question not only the authenticity of products, but the ethics of picking up covetable items on the sly for rock bottom prices.

It was with great sadness that I recently learned that Lush's make-up dedicated, sister company, B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful (officially the longest brand-name in history), was to cease trading after six colourful, glittery years. That means no more bright pigments, lustrous glitters, or ornate hand-made packaging in a 100% ethical, and often vegan guise. Sob.

It’s undeniably hat and scarf season and there’s no warmer option than a big ass furry trapper hat. Sure they might have been designed for hunters and people who do worth jobs in the outdoors, but there’s no reason that cold-eared city-dwellers can’t get in on the action too. My only problem with trapper hats is that I can’t wear my big headphones with them, but it’s a small price to pay for a snazzy hat.

The males of any species face an uncomfortable future. They're precariously straddling the metro/hetereo verge, and consistently forced into situations where everything about him is assessed, from brains, to productivity, to attractiveness.Yes, due to the increasing number of women in the workforce, the male appearance is now something that they’re having to pay closer attention to, but (still) there are many who are unsure how to groom without appearing feminine.

With Camilla giving us the low down on eco-friendly fashion every week for the last month or so, I’ve been admittedly paying a bit more attention to the greener side of style. So when I read about The North Circular Knitwear over at

The factors that really determine whether clothing looks good on us is whether they suit our body shape and colouring yet there are hardly any online retailers who provide a facility to search for clothing using these options in addition to...

In a bid to break away from their old bastard reputation (beige slacks, anything from M&S men's also key to this look), earlier this year, Hush Puppies threw the pencil and paper out to the masses and launched a design comp...

As the nights get longer and the days get colder, it gets increasingly difficult to wrench yourself of the sofa and into the outside world. Sitting in the lounge under a blanket in front of a fire is pretty much the only thing I want to do at this time of year but alas jobs need to be done, groceries need to be bought, and bags of rubbish can only sit around the kitchen for so long before they leak that mysterious liquid.

Ethical fashion- what exactly is it? What is ethical fashion really about? These questions continue to stimulate much confusion within the fashion industry; and there’s no doubt that it is no simple explanation but hopefully this will shed some light…The Ethical Fashion Forum’s definition of ethical fashion is based on best practice within the ethical fashion arena. Ethical fashion doesn’t necessarily have to be doing everything ethically, but must cover one or more of these areas:

Nail varnishes are one of those things that you don’t really know the quality of until you’ve used it.So many times I’ve wasted money on polishes that don’t look like anything like they do in the bottle, or chip off just days (or hours) fter using it. At the recent
