When I was 18 years old, turning 30 seemed like the end of fun. No more drinking slurpees, going on spontaneous road trips or wearing pink polka dots. Maybe it’s my age but I just can’t seem to embrace “ghetto chic” style. Sure, Jessie J and Rihanna look great in graffiti print hareem pants and giant gold doorknocker earrings but aside from starting my own break dancing street squad, I just can’t imagine where I would wear such clothing.
