The preview of Avsh Alom Gur's forthcoming Spring/Summer 2010 collection may have been advertised as a show, but the free-for-all that ensued around the presentation of mannequins as the curtain fell, was far from it.
You'd have thought they were giving away the clothes, the stampede was so mental. I blame the skanky Sourz they were hanging out beforehand.
To be honest though, I prefer an up-close presentation, where you can actually feel and see the clothes up-close.
Avsh Alom Gur's collection consisted of an array of sheers, in both colourful and monochrome graphic prints.
Plain black sheers were embellished with dense swathes of tiny, colourful beads, creating intricate, ethnic patterns.
