Kirsty Doyle's AW09 Collection on My-Wardrobe.com

By Cate Sevilla

While she used to be best known for being the first winner of Project Catwalk, Kirsty Doyle’s designs and the quality of her clothing has made her a star in her own right.

I joined Kirsty at the My-Wardrobe offices for an exclusive preview of her latest collection, and I was absolutely blown away.

I wasn’t in the UK to watch her on Project Catwalk, so this was the first I had seen or heard of her designs, and to be honest, I’m unsure how I hadn’t heard of her before. The movement and shapes of her clothing, the fabrics, the colors and the way they sit on your body is absolute perfection.

Her new collection goes live on My-Wardrobe tomorrow, September 15th, and she even has an exclusive dress that one lucky My-Wardrobe user can win!

The Jet Dress is absolutely gorgeous and was created exclusively for My-Wardrobe to celebrate her AW09 collection. Priced at £395, whoever wins this dress is incredibly lucky!

Kirsty says her favorite item in her new line is her black jacket with the dramatic, origami like sleeve detail, as well as the jumpsuit. I’m not usually a fan of jumpsuits or playsuits, but Kirsty’s is gorgeous.

It’s quite long, and at first glance looks like a maxi dress. The fabric flows and clings to your curves, giving you a flattering silhouette, but moves around you in a way that is very old Hollywood. Plus, the material is soft to the touch, and gorgeous.

Aside from the jumpsuit, my favorite piece in her new line is the black jacket that Kirsty says she was very fond of. I tried it on, and it's definitely a power jacket. With those big, pointy shoulders, you definitely feel like a Super Hero.

Kirsty is incredibly passionate and excited by her new line, and we’re excited for her!

Make sure to enter the competition on My-Wardrobe to win the exclusive Jet Dress, and to check out the rest of Kirsty’s new line!
