Last night saw the launch of the new H! By Henry Holland line that will be launched in 64 Debenhams shop for Spring /Summer 2010 as yet another example of their "Design in Every Department" campaign.
The man himself was there last night, talking to folks about his new, more affordable line, as well as posing for photos and probably being attacked by over enthusiastic fashion bloggers. (“OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU!!!!!)
While I’m not personally a fan of most of Henry’s stuff (I simply do not *get* what’s so great about those T-shirts) H! has some pretty cool key pieces. From handbags to shoes, gadget covers, swimwear, lingerie and accessories, the prices range from £6 - £30.
Huge polkadot bags, frilly florals mixed with ‘90s-style checks, the whole collection is very “My So Called Life”, mixed with a bit of the usual, neon and studded fluff we’ve come to expect from high street ranges.

It’s all very feminine yet that funky,dishevelled edginess you’d expect from Mr Holland. And while I don’t know who would wear a suit that looks like a man’s pyjama set – the party attendees all seemed to pretty pleased.

And not just because there was free booze.
