Create Boutique Opens in London

By Laura Silver

There are a lot of good reasons to make your own clothes and accessories. You will undoubtedly save money, you can make to your exact measurements for a perfect fit, and most of all, you won't end up one of the seven girls down the pub wearing the latest Topshop dress to be featured in Grazia.

Not all of us however, are blessed with amazing seamstress skills, and getting started can sometimes be a bit tricky. If you are nodding your head to all the above, a new series of workshops by Create Boutique who have teamed up with a plethora of fashion specialists, could be right up your street!

With workshops ranging from clutch bags to nipple tassles, specialists including Ruka Johnson, who works with underwear label, Myla, will guide you through making your very own luxury products.

And they don't just stop at clothing (nipple tassels are technically clothing, right?)! A Luxury Body Cream workshop shows you how to blend essential oils with fair trade butters to make your very own beauty concoctions.

Best of all, if you are having a party or small gathering, the Create Boutique will come to you!

Forthcoming classes include:

BOW-TILICIOUS: Led by our resident stylist Davy this workshop helps you create your own statement piece of BOW! Jewelry or Accessory.

Luxury Body Creams: this workshop shows you how to mix and package your own personalised, skin care products. Made from ethically sourced organic ingredients, with a base of essential oils, these products are tailor made by you for someone special.

Clutch Bag:This workshop gives you the skills to design and make a high end leather clutch bag.

For information about dates of classes and booking, visit the Create Boutique website, or call 07859 028 118.
