Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese: Simply Oozing with '50s Sensual Glamour

By Cate Sevilla

Our favorite Burlesque Queen, Dita Von Teese, has designed her own line of lingerie for Wonderbra. The fabulous new Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese line was designed to "actively encourage women of all ages to embrace their inner-glamour and beauty".

I'm absolutely in love with these brilliant lingerie sets as they simply ooze that "sensual glamour" of the 1940s and '50s that Dita is so famous for. Plus, while most celebrity designed fashion lines *cough* Kate Moss For Topshop *cough* leave us wondering what the hell all the fuss is about, Dita's new lingerie for Wonderbra is not only unique and sexy, but Dita's reasoning behind the lingerie is positively delicious:

“I am very proud of the lingerie that I’ve created for Wonderbra, because it has all the beautiful detail of sexy, sensual and glamorous lingerie, but the fit is perfect to wear under your everyday clothes. I love it when you can go about your daily business with the knowledge that you have a little secret of your own on underneath.

Lingerie shouldn’t be something you just put on for your lover; you should do it for you. It’s not about seducing men, it’s about embracing womanhood.

Dita, I freaking love you.

The collection includes three different fabulous ranges:

The Multi-Teese: a provocative, multi-talented set in black which allows the wearer to arrange the straps a multitude of ways, this range features a unique quick-release magnetic closure on both the bra and the bottom, making daring stripteases a cinch. (Pictured above)

Dita Von Teese for Wonderbra - Spot Teese

The Spot-Teese: a fun and flirty range featuring a casino chip motif in caramel, overlaid with a sexy sheer black tulle and accented with a floral detail that can decorate the bra or brief.

Dita for Wonderbra Satin-Teese Peach

The Satin-Teese: a return to classic elegance and retro glamour that comes in two colours; soft peach and dove grey, and offers the 50’s top wire design.

The good news is that Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese is a limited edition collection that is available from September 23rd. The bad news? It's only being sold in Europe.

For a treat, make sure to check out Wonderbra's Website on September 15th for a special film starring Dita as you've "never seen her before".

We can hardly wait.

My goodness, she is absolutely stunning isn't she! In that last photo she looks like a porcelain doll - phwroar! I don't think I'd wear any of those sets, but might check out if there's anything else on offer when it launches.

Let's hope that they cater to the much smaller chested ladies as well. I love 40's clothes, and who couldn't use another set of sexy undergarments?

I feel the same way about lingerie; it's about feeling good about your body, not pleasing a guy. I love knowing that I'm wearing something super sexy underneath my usual jeans + tshirt ensemble.

I love that they chose a woman that women find sexy as opposed to a man's sex symbol (if I have to see Pamela Anderson's raggedy ass trotted out for one more thing I am going to hurl). I also have to second all the big boob queries, although me and my circus tits are not overtly hopeful.
